What Are Terpenes?

Image
A Cannabis Enthusiast’s Guide To Understanding Terpenes One of the most fun aspects of being a cannabis consumer or patient is the ability to smell the array of fragrances that the plant’s flowers produce. With scents ranging from fruity aromas to cheese-like smells, the cannabis plant can require the consumer to develop a level of familiarity and expertise with its unique makeup.   US Patent 6-630-507 and  Why You Need to Know About This Posted at 18:33h  in  News by HempMeds In 1999, a group of researchers, including Nobel Laureate Julius Axelrod, filed a patent application on behalf of the National Institutes of Health (NIH) declaring that cannabis has medicinal value. Patent 6,630,507, “Cannabinoids as antioxidants and neuroprotectants”, was awarded 4 years later in 2003 to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. Think about that for a moment. If that doesn’t fall under “say one thing then do something else”, we don’t know what does. It’s a baffling hypocrisy, isn’t it? Why would the government, and we’re talking about scientists, PhDs and M.D.s here, not politicians, keep valuable information about treating life-thre...

The more toxic one's bodily systems are, the more severe the detoxification, or healing crisis. It is characterized by a temporary increase in symptoms during the cleansing or detox process which may be mild or severe. You may feel worse and therefore conclude that the treatment is not working. But these reactions are instead signs that the treatment is working and that your body is going through the process of cleaning itself of impurities, toxins and imbalances. Such reactions are temporary and can occur immediately -- or within several days, or even several weeks, of a detox. Symptoms usually pass within 1-3 days, but on rare occasions can last several we...
